Hose and hose assemblies have been our specialty for many years at Gregg’s. Since this field is becoming more demanding, regulations are changing and performance certifications are becoming a requirement. We’re on top of these changes and we continue to adapt. We pride ourselves in providing you with the most progressive hose shop in the industry with unmatched levels of inventory.

Our shops utilize multiple engineered crimping systems: Aeroquip, Manuli, Continental, and Campbell - among others, along with fittings that are engineered to match those hose specifications. Gregg Distributors is also a Continental Star-Certified Assembler & Industrial Fluid Solutions Elite Distributor.

CAPABILITIES

With trusted, state-of-the-art equipment, we are able to service a wide range of your hose building and testing requirements. All locations offer crimping capacity up to 4 inches, many up to 6 inches, and Edmonton Main has the ability to crimp up to a 12-inch diameter.

HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE TESTING EQUIPMENT & CERTIFICATIONS

We’ve custom designed our pressure testing equipment and built it to our specific standards. This commitment to designing a functional configuration of testing equipment has allowed us to become leaders in the industry.

We provide consistent and reliable pressure testing services to meet virtually any need, which is critical for hose assemblies going into field service. Specifically, our hose shops provide:

Pressure testing capabilities up to 40,000 psi
Up to 12-inch hose assemblies (depending on fittings required)
Certification and re-certification
Engraved test tags/banding that gets attached to hose assemblies
Copies of test certificates accompany all tested hoses. Copies are also kept on file at GDLP

BANDING & TRACKING

For anything that is pressure tested, banding and tracking can be a critical component for traceability. Whether you need your hose assemblies identified with an engraved tag or colour-coded band, we have what you need.

When you walk into our showrooms, look for the “Hose Express Service Counter” sign and one of our knowledgeable Customer Service Professionals will ensure that we get started on your hose assembly right away. Our goal is to help get you up and running again as quickly as possible!

ASSEMBLY EQUIPMENT

Leave the expertise of the hose assembly process to us – or if you prefer – do it yourself! If you’re a higher-volume user looking for the ability to build your own hoses, we can set you up with the necessary equipment and training to get you on your way. Just ask!

HOSE CLEANING

All of our assemblies are cleaned using the Ultra-Clean Technologies system. This revolutionary contamination elimination system is the ideal solution for any hydraulic hose, tubing, or pipe.

IN-HOUSE TRAINING PROGRAM

Heads Up for Hosers is our very own in-house training program aimed at providing our expert hosers with the training they need to raise the bar in the hose industry, while continuously improving our Hose Shops.
